Gangnam International Education Center (GNIEC) is hiring instructors for a Part time position

l  Gangnam International Education Center welcomes candidates for two part-time instructor positions to teach in GNIEC’s English Junior Winter Camp Program (one for pop song class and one for presentation class). GNIEC seeks instructors who have a background in the field of EFL/ESL and are passionate about teaching Children and helping students reach their goals.

Job Title: Part-time English Instructors for 3 weeks

Teaching Duration:  Jan 4 – Jan 22, 2021

Minimum Requirements:
1) Native speakers of English with a Bachelor’s Degree
2) A minimum of 3 years in Children teaching                                    

3) Must be currently present in Korea for an interview and mock lesson.                       

4) Valid E2 Visa (or F2, F6 visa)

Preferred Qualifications:
1) Plays the Guitar or piano (or any Musical Instruments) : For pop song class.                                         

2) Holds a degree in English, Education, Business or related field of study and and/or a relevant English Education certification (e.g. TESOL, CELTA, online TESOL, etc.).
3) Master’s Degree in related field given preference.
4) Priority given to candidate(s) who have knowledge of language acquisition principles, experience developing and using effective language teaching methods and materials, a keen understanding of Korean English language learners, ability to acclimate to new programs, and ability to collaborate well with fellow colleagues.    

5) Previous experience teaching primary level ESL learners

Key Working Conditions:
1) Teaching Hours: 2 hours/Day (10-12pm) (classes taught Monday through Friday)
2) Hourly rate: 40,000 – 45,000 won
