Job Description

We’re a passionate English academy in one of the most promising areas in Seoul. It's run by a motivated team and experienced English teachers who have strong desire in helping children develop their language skills. 

Our creative English journey comprises of the below unique elements:

We are looking for teachers who can teach speaking, reading, listening or grammar per our curriculum; skilled and experienced native English teachers with a passion for teaching young learners. Our main value that English is never boring. Student isn’t bored, teacher feels the same. And vice versa. 

 

Details:

  • Starting date: August 22nd 
  • Teaching levels: Elementary, middle school  
  • Location: Sangwangsimni station (서울 성동구)
  • Working Condition: M-F / 11am - 8.00 pm, 12pm - 9pm (5-6 teaching hours, 1 hour lunch time), 1 Saturday/month - workshop
  • Class size: max – 10 students 
  • Vacation: 11 days + all national holidays
  • Pay: 2.6~ (will be discussed during the interview)
  • Full Benefits: Insurance, Pension, Severance Pay - in accordance with Korean Law

Position Requirements:

• BA degree from an accredited University.

• TESOL/TEFL certificate

• E2, F2, F4, F5, F6 visa

• Must have at least 1 year of English teaching experience in Korea (hagwon) 

• Must have a passion for education and love children

 

Responsibilities:

• Teach and manage elementary level students (small class sizes, 8-10 max)

• Prepare teaching materials provided by the academy

• R&D (developing supplemental materials, lesson plans, etc. to go along with our curriculum or any new curriculum that we decide to utilize)

• Communicate with co-workers and parents regarding students’ classroom behaviour and academic progression

• Grade and edit students’ work
